Accountants need a website that builds trust the moment a client visits the website. That’s why DDK turned to e9digital. DDK is a CPA firm committed to helping their clients build and manage their businesses, as well as take care of their personal financial concerns.
They brought on our team at e9digital to redesign the website with a fresh, more modern look. They wanted a site that helped them drive more website traffic and increase the company’s brand awareness. DDK felt confident working with us due to our extensive portfolio and the knowledge of our founder, Conrad.
Designing an Accounting Website Built on Trust, Clarity, and Momentum
For accounting websites, the target market has to feel like they can trust the firm immediately since they are working with such sensitive personal information. We used blue throughout the site because people often associate it with professionalism, reliability, and stability, exactly what clients want to feel when choosing an accountant.¹
To get there, our website designer created a brand standards guide with updated messaging, colors, icons, buttons, and imagery to drive the full website design. The homepage opened with a full-width header, a refreshed DDK logo in the top left corner, and updated navigation that was cleaner, easier to read, and better organized.
We also refined the user experience across the site:
- Added hover effects to increase engagement
- Built homepage sections that encourage visitors to explore interior pages
- Added industry areas to support SEO for the sectors DDK serves
- Included an email subscription area to help DDK stay top-of-mind
- Updated forms to match the new style guide
The result was a website that felt more current, organized, and useful for potential clients.
Website Design for Accountants That Gets the Details Right
“You totally nailed it.” — Raj Katyal, Director of IT Operations | DDK
This project came together because the strategy, design, content, and project management stayed aligned from start to finish. Our project manager was crucial in keeping feedback organized, priorities clear, and the project moving on schedule.
For accounting firms, a website should build confidence, support visibility, and make it easier for the right clients to take action. At e9digital, we design websites for CPA firms that want to look as polished online as they are in the room.
